Terms & conditions
The terms for using our website and ordering from us. We’ve kept them as plain as we can.
Last updated: June 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Sea & Seeds website at seaandseeds.co.uk and to any order you place with us, whether online, by phone, or in person at 46 High Street, Leatherhead, KT22 8AJ. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
“We”, “us” and “our” refer to Sea & Seeds.
Using our website
You may use our website for your own personal, lawful use. You agree not to misuse it, attempt to interfere with it, or use it in any way that could damage it or disrupt other users. We may update, suspend or withdraw all or part of the site at any time without notice.
Ordering & availability
You can order from us through our website, by phone, or in person. All orders are an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable, if there’s been a pricing or description error, or if we’re unable to deliver to your location.
Menu items are subject to availability. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We may change our prices and menu from time to time; the price that applies is the one shown at the time you place your order.
Payment
For collection and our own delivery, you can pay online or over the phone, or by cash or card when you order in person. Orders placed through third-party platforms such as Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats must be paid in advance through those platforms, under their own terms.
Collection & delivery
Collection orders are usually ready in around 15 minutes. We deliver with our own driver within 2.5 miles of the shop, usually within 25–30 minutes; you can also order for delivery through our partner platforms. All times are estimates and may vary at busy periods or in poor weather. Please make sure the contact and address details you give us are correct so we can reach you.
Cancellations & refunds
Our food is freshly prepared to order. Because of this, once we have started preparing your order it generally can’t be cancelled or changed, and your right to cancel under distance-selling rules doesn’t apply to freshly prepared food.
That said, we want you to be happy with your order. If something isn’t right — it’s incorrect, incomplete, or not up to standard — please contact us promptly, on the day, and we’ll put it right with a replacement or a refund as appropriate. Orders placed through a third-party platform are subject to that platform’s own cancellation and refund policy. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
Allergies & dietary requirements
Our kitchen fries in shared oil and handles all 14 named allergens, so we can’t guarantee any dish is free from a particular allergen. If you have an allergy or intolerance, it’s important that you tell our team before you order, every time. Please see our allergen information for more detail.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, menus and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Our liability
We take care to provide accurate information and a good service, but our website is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
